PT GKBI Investment, along with several of its subsidiaries, took part in the Textile Recycle Fun Run (TRF Run) held in Bandung on June 22, 2025. The TRF Run is a 5K running event organized by the Sintesa Cooperative – Politeknik STT Tekstil Bandung, combining sports, fun, and textile recycling. The GKBI Group participated not only as a sponsor but also as active participants in the event.  

The President Director of PT GKBI Investment, Mr. H. Edy Santosa—an alumnus and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sintesa Cooperative and the Alumni Association—joined the run, along with Mr. H. Edi Sisworo, Director of PT Primatexco Indonesia, and Mr. H. Esuka Haris, President Director of PC GKBI Medari. In addition to these executives, several employees from PT GKBI Investment, PT Primatexco Indonesia, and PC GKBI Medari also took part in the run and successfully finished within the allowed time limit.

Staying healthy is something that must be pursued, and beyond promoting health, the TRF Run serves as a movement to support environmental awareness through textile recycling. This was reflected in features such as recycled medals and TRF Run photo spots. The event attracted approximately 600 participants and featured a fairly challenging route—the first 2.5 kilometers included a steep climb over the Jakarta Street flyover, followed by a mostly flat and downhill path.

At exactly 6:30 AM, the Flag Off for VVIPs and former Persib football legends was officiated by Mr. Edy Santosa, accompanied by Mr. Dasep Suryanto, Chairman of Sintesa, followed by the general participants' Flag Off.

The TRF Run also featured numerous door prizes, culminating in a grand prize of an electric scooter and a Honda PCX motorcycle. The prize draw was conducted by Mr. Edy Santosa, with the Honda PCX grand prize awarded to a participant who was an alumnus from the class of 1995.
