The General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) for the 2024 fiscal year of PT GKBI Investment was held at Hotel Grand Keisha Yogyakarta on May 11, 2025. The meeting was attended by representatives of shareholders from 39 Primary Batik Cooperatives across Indonesia, along with GKBI Secondary Cooperatives as the majority shareholder, holding 35%. In his presentation, the President Director of PT GKBI Investment, Mr. HRM Edy Santosa, MM, MBA, stated that despite the general economic downturn and the decline in the textile industry specifically, the company—part of the GKBI Group—remains in good condition and has recorded positive results. He also expressed optimism that in 2025, the company's subsidiaries and PT GKBI Investment itself would continue to improve through product innovation and domestic market penetration, particularly as several major textile factories in Indonesia have closed. This situation is expected to create opportunities for GKBI Group companies to fill the market gaps left by the closures.
In addition to shareholders, the meeting was also attended by professional directors leading the companies under the GKBI Group.
